Last December 22, 2012, the newly constructed Morong, Bataan Municipal Hall was blessed and inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Gerardo “Gerry” Jorge, Parish Priest of the Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in a simple but solemn ceremony. It was attended by all the Municipal Officials and Employees headed by the then Mayor Cynthia G. Linao-Estanislao, M.D., the ever charming and very hardworking wife of the present Mayor, the Hon. Jorge S. Estanislao, M.D. and some special guests and close acquaintances.
The all immaculate white façade of the building is surrounded by go-thic-liked pedestals and is considered by many who saw and entered it as one of the most, if not the most beautiful and elegant looking Municipal Halls in the Province of Bataan todate.
Every department has its own room furnished with newly acquired office furniture and equipments conducive to the needs of the staff and clients alike. Thus, delivery of basic goods and services is comfortably and effectively acted upon on time.
There is also an Information Desk at the lobby and in the second floor housed the spacious Mayor’s Office adjacent to a Conference Room. At the same floor we will find the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall opposite the Office of the Secretary and the Vice Mayor’s Office.
Another two storey annexed (building) edifice is now on the finishing touches and maybe operational a month or two as of this writing. It will house the various line agencies of the national government that are operating in Morong like BIR, COA, DAR, Agricuture, Water District Office and others.
